Technology Introduction

Epoxy Resin

Brifoxy method

An asphalt concrete (Ascon) adhesion method for bridge decks using silica sand and epoxy resin

A specially processed epoxy resin is applied to the bridge deck surface to form a waterproof and anti-corrosion layer

Silica Sand Broadcasting   โ–ถ  Formation of Anti-Slip Layer (Interlocking Effect)   โ–ถ  Asphalt Concrete (Ascon) Adhesion

โœ”  The characteristics of epoxy resin (such as chemical resistance, saltwater resistance, and water tightness) form an anti-corrosion layer, enhancing the durability of the bridge deck

โœ”  Using modified epoxy resin with excellent physical and chemical properties and silica sand with superior friction characteristics to prevent shoving and displacement of the pavement layer

โœ”  Forming a base layer that simultaneously satisfies strong adhesion and friction, followed by Asphalt Concrete (Ascon) paving on top
